The House Protects the Dreamer: Gentle Animations

Animation excerpts and installation images of The House Protects the Dreamer, an exhibition created in collaboration with Art Enables. After multiple artist brainstorm sessions, I collaged and animated 7 scenes using Art Enables artists' artwork and collective narrative concepts. Tying the animation is an underlying thread of a vision of a world where everyone is safe and free to dream. Through the animation the viewer traverses an individual's dreams-- collaged scenes with flowers growing rabbits and ice cream, mermaids greeting aliens, royal disco dance parties, breathing abstract shapes, eyes with swirling energies, and more! All to culminate in a final scene with many more homes, where all are sheltered and safe to dream. The final 6 and a half minute animation was projected large scale on two walls at the gallery. The show ran June 21 - August 16 2025.
